Yelp Names Kauai Food Truck As Nation’s Top Sushi Spot
Hawaii is home to the #1 sushi spot in the U.S., with seven Hawaii restaurants making Yelp’s Top 100 list.
Kauai Sushi Station in Lihue is the best place for sushi in the country, according to review site Yelp. The crowd-sourced review giant has announced the “Top 100 Sushi Spots in the US,” which it says “includes the best sushi restaurants all across the country using the freshest fish to craft simple nigiri and beautifully decorated rolls.”
“A fine-dining food truck, this family-run business serves up fresh local fish along with delicacies flown in from Japan—including uni and aji—on beautifully decorated pilates with organic edible flowers,” Yelp reports.
According to the Kauai Sushi Station website, the food truck can be found “across from The Costco gas station exit.”
In all, seven Hawaii restaurants made the list:

- Hihimanu Sushi (#34) – Honolulu
